About the Artist

Hello, my name is Julia Angell and I'm a mixed-media artist based in Seattle, Washington! I work primarily with acrylic paints and graphite, each piece a reflection of my emotions and journey through art. My creations are inspired by the world around us, capturing the beauty in everyday moments and inviting viewers to see various scenes with a fresh perspective.

I began my artistic journey at a young age and have since developed a unique style that blends various techniques with modern experimentation. I focus on creating pieces that evoke both emotional depth and visual intrigue.

For me, art is a journey of exploration. As I continue to grow in my personal life, so does my art and style. I love experimenting with different mediums, always seeking new ways to express myself and connect with others. While my realistic works are grounded in the details of life, my abstract paintings are deeply personal—using my emotions as a starting point. In these pieces, I pour my feelings onto the canvas, hoping to evoke the same emotions in those who experience them.

Testing elements such as color, texture, and abstract forms, I aim to inspire reflection and connection, whether through the delicate lines of graphite or the bold strokes of acrylic paint.  My goal is to invite viewers into my world and, through my art, encourage them to find their own emotions and stories.
